robbiepaula-52PKS & Company, P.A. Hosts Another Success Women’s Networking & Business Workshop

Sponsored by PKS & Company, P.A., BE CONNECTED brought together local professional women for a morning of peer-to-peer networking and information sharing in Salisbury on September 8.

This month’s workshop, The Care and Feeding of Your Personal Brand, was led by marketing innovators Robbie Tarpley Raffish, founder and president of a.s.a.p.r. integrated marketing and Paula T. Morris, Marketing Professor at Salisbury University and CEO of PTM.

Together, they combined their extensive marketing experience and creativity into a powerful workshop with a clear message: your brand is who you are, but more importantly, what you do.

“Everyone needs to have a vision for their whole lives” explained Raffish.  “A vision for what you want to achieve and a real understanding of your values.  These are the absolute core of what your brand is.  From a marketing prospective you really need to know what makes you different.”  According to Morris, “your personal brand adapts and evolves – and integrity is the bottom line”.

Event attendees said they “enjoyed the interactive exercises that helped them identify and define their unique personal brand attributes …I left with a better understanding of how I can care for my personal brand, while consciously helping it evolve to reflect who I am … this is always a great event, where I can be myself and get the chance to catch up with other professionals”.
